Product Description Network Volumes for Dedicated Servers
A network volume for dedicated servers is a scalable external network block storage with triple data replication. Triple replication of disk volumes ensures high data integrity. Suitable for rapid scaling of server disk space.
Network drives can be attached to dedicated servers in pools of Saint Petersburg and Moscow. The selected pool determines:
- network for connecting a network volume — SAN or private network;
- and server configurations to which network drives can be attached.

How it works
A network volume can be connected to one or more dedicated servers. Connection is performed via the iSCSI protocol.
All servers and network drives are combined into a single group when connected in the control panel — for more details, see the Connect network drive to server subsection of the Connect network drive to server instructions. A network drive can only be connected to the entire group at once — it will be available to all servers in the group.

Types of network volumes
Servercore provides two types of network volumes:
- Basic HDD – an HDD based on enterprise-class SATA drives. Suitable for storing large volumes of data that do not require frequent reading or overwriting;
- Fast SSD – an NVMe SSD with fast response and high performance. Suitable for operations requiring high read and write speeds.
Drive types differ in minimum and maximum size limits, throughput values, and the number of read and write operations. For more details, see the Network drive limits table.
Limits and restrictions
Only one SAN network is available in each region.
By default, you can create only three network drives per account. You can increase the number of network drives and the maximum drive size; to do this, submit a ticket.
