Manage access to cloud server network volume backups

Access to network volume backups is governed by a role model that defines access within an account and project. Read more in the Access Control in Servercore Products instruction.

member

User with full access to all services. Does not have access to manage: users, service users, user groups and federations.

In the Account access scope:

  • view a list of all backups and information about them: backup type, size, connected backup plans, status;
  • creating backups;
  • managing backups;
  • view a list of all backup plans;

In the Project access scope:

  • view a list of all backups and information about them: backup type, size, connected backup plans, status;
  • creating backups;
  • managing backups;
  • view a list of all backup plans;
  • creating backup plans;
  • managing backup plans

reader

User with access to view everything that a member can manage in the same access scope.

iam.admin

User with access to user management and no access to services or billing. Cannot manage their own account: change permissions, manage notifications, delete the user. The first user with the iam.admin role is created by the Account Owner.
