Restore a network drive from backup

When restoring from network disk backups in single-zone pools, a new disk with the same type and size as the original disk is created. In a multi-zone pool, when restoring from a backup, you can create a disk of a different type and in a different pool segment.

The backup recovery time depends on the backup size. For example, a 100 GB backup will be restored in 11 minutes.During the restore, the network disk for which the backup was created will be in the RESTORING-BACKUP status.
