Restore a network volume from a backup
When restoring from network volume backups in single-zone pools, a new volume is created with the same type and size as the original. In a multi-zone pool, you can create a volume of a different type and in a different pool segment when restoring from a backup.
Backup recovery time depends on the backup size. For example, a 100 GB backup will be restored in 11 minutes. During recovery, the network volume for which the backup was created will be in the RESTORING-BACKUP status.
It is not possible to restore from a backup to the original volume or to a new cloud server. The restored volume can be attached to a cloud server or used to create a new server from it.
