View target group and server status

View target group status

The operation status shows how traffic balancing is proceeding.

  1. In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Cloud Servers.
  2. Go to the Load Balancers section → Target Groups tab.
  3. Check the status in the target group card.
ONLINEAll health checks are passing, and the servers are accepting requests
DEGRADEDSome servers in the group are not accepting requests from the load balancer
ERRORAll servers in the group are failing health checks and not accepting traffic from the load balancer, although the servers themselves may be in an active state
OFFLINEAll servers in the group are suspended and not accepting requests from the load balancer

View server status

  1. In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Cloud Servers.
  2. Go to the Load Balancers section → Target Groups tab.
  3. Open the target group page.
  4. In the server row, in the Status column, check the status.
ONLINEThe server is successfully responding to health checks
CREATINGThe server is being added to the target group
UPDATINGServer settings are being updated
OFFLINEThe server is not accepting requests, although the server itself may be in an active state
BACKUPThe server has been set to backup status and will be included in operation if the other servers in the target group are non-functional
NO_MONITORService health is not being checked by health checks. If all load balancer servers are in this status, the load balancer status is ≠ ONLINE
DRAININGThe server is not accepting new connections but continues to process existing ones
ERRORThe service on the specified port is not responding or is failing the response type health check
DELETINGThe server is being removed from the load balancer target group. This does not affect server operation
