Add a GPU to an existing cloud server

Graphics processors can be added to custom configuration servers.

For cloud servers with a local disk, you can add only NVIDIA® A100 40Gb⁠⁠, NVIDIA® A100 80Gb⁠, NVIDIA® A30, or NVIDIA® RTX 6000 Ada in the ru-7a pool segment.

  1. In the Control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select Cloud Servers.

  2. Open the server page → Configuration tab.

  3. Click Change configuration.

  4. Select the GPU line.

  5. Click Custom.

  6. Click Add GPU. If the server has 1 vCPU, the value will automatically change to 2 vCPUs.

  7. Select the GPU type.

  8. Specify the number of GPUs.

  10. Click Save and reboot.

  11. If the server was not created from a pre-configured image with GPU optimization, you need to install the drivers on the server yourself for stable NVIDIA® GPU operation.
