Delete cloud server volume

A local disk can only be removed together with the server it is attached to.

Network volumes can be removed together with the server or detached from the server and removed separately.

If you delete a volume, the data cannot be recovered. We recommend creating a copy of the data before deleting the volume: create a volume image or create another volume from this volume. Volume snapshots will be deleted along with the volume.

  1. If the volume is attached to a cloud server, detach the volume from the server.
  2. In the control panel, from the top menu, click Products and select Cloud Servers.
  3. Go to the Volumes section.
  4. In the menu of the volume, select Delete volume.
