When you paste an object from the clipboard, it replaces the object in the target container without warning.

For your information

If access policy there is:

  • in the container where the object resides — it must allow reading the object;
  • in the container where the object is to be copied to — it must allow the object to be added to the container.

You can copy an object to another container or to another folder in the current container.

  1. in control panels from the top menu, press Products and select Object Storage.
  2. Go to the section Containers.
  3. Open the tab Objects.
  4. Mark the object.
  5. Click Copy.
  6. Open the page of the desired container or the destination folder in the current container where you want to copy the object.
  7. Click Paste to current folder.
