Cancel a dedicated server

If you do not cancel the server before the last day of the paid period, the server and its additional services are automatically extended and continue to be charged. Refunds are only available for full unused months.

Before the end of the paid period, you can renew the server lease.

Cancel an active dedicated server

  1. In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Dedicated Servers.
  2. Open the server card you want to cancel.
  3. In the menu, select Cancel server lease.
  4. When the paid period ends, the server will be removed from your server list in the Control panel. Data on the server will be deleted: overwritten with zeros on HDDs, and completely wiped on SSDs (SATA and NVMe) using the built-in Secure Erase feature.

Cancel a blocked dedicated server

To cancel a server that has been blocked for non-payment, create a ticket. You cannot cancel a blocked server's lease through the card in the Control panel.

When there are insufficient funds on your balance for a full payment according to the pricing plan, the server is charged on a daily basis for a certain period. If there are insufficient funds on your balance for the daily payment, the server will be charged on credit, which must be paid. The debt does not expire after server deletion and remains on the account balance indefinitely. More details in the Blocking due to insufficient funds subsection of the Payment model and dedicated server prices instructions.
