Manage PTR records
A PTR record, or reverse resource record, allows you to assign a name (domain) to an IP address. For example, mail servers check the PTR record of the sender's IP address.
The control panel displays:

public IP addresses from the Servercore AS (autonomous system) that are used on dedicated servers, cloud platform objects (cloud servers, cloud load balancers, Managed Databases and etc.);

PI IP addresses that you announce via Servercore equipment.
Add a PTR record
- In the control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select IP Addresses.
- In the menu for the IP address, select Add PTR.
- Enter a domain name (e.g.,
example.com). - Click Save.
Edit a PTR record
- In the control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select IP Addresses.
- In the menu for the IP address, select Edit PTR.
- Enter a new domain name (e.g.,
example.com). - Click Save.
Delete a PTR record
- In the control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select IP Addresses.
- In the menu for the IP address, select Delete PTR.
- Click Delete.
