System dashboards

System dashboards are preconfigured dashboards containing metrics for Servercore products and services.

Available dashboards

Three system dashboards are available for cloud servers.

GraphDescription
Cloud serversCloud servers average usage

Displays:

  • average CPU, memory, network, and disk performance indicators for the selected cloud servers;
  • number of servers and their statuses (running, paused, shut_off, and others).

Metrics are aggregated by selected servers into a single value without breakdown by individual server. You can estimate the overall load on a group of servers, for example, from one project, without analyzing the performance indicators of each server separately

Cloud servers detailed

Displays CPU, memory, network, and disk performance indicators separately for each selected cloud server. Each server has its own line on the graph.

You can compare the load between servers and find a specific server that has different performance indicators from the others

Cloud servers disks

Displays the following for each cloud server disk:

  • read and write speed in IOPS and bytes per second;
  • disk cache flush speed.

Suitable for diagnosing disk subsystem performance to determine which specific disk is creating the main read or write load

View dashboard

  1. In the control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Metrics.

  2. Go to the Dashboards section → System Dashboards tab.

  3. Open the dashboard page.

  4. Configure the dashboard filters:

    4.1. In the Source field, select the projects whose metrics you want to view. Only projects to which the user has access are available in the list. More details can be found in the Managing access to metrics section.

    4.2. In the Location field, select the locations you want to view metrics for. For more information about available locations for the service, see the Metrics subsection of the Availability Matrix guide.

    4.3. Optional: select the variable values you want to display on the dashboard. All values are selected by default.

    4.4. Optional: select a pre-defined range or specify the period for which you need metrics. The 1 day period is selected by default.

    4.5. Optional: select UTC or Local time for the displayed metric time.

    4.6. Click Run.
