Mobile Farm: Quick Start

  1. Add a device.
  2. Start testing.
  3. Finish working with the device.

1. Add a device

  1. In the control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Mobile Farm.

  2. Go to the Devices section.

  3. Click Add device.

  4. Select the number of devices you need.

  5. If you need a device that is not in the list, create a ticket, and we will consider adding it.

  6. In the Price block, select the billing period:

    • per-minute;
    • hourly;
    • 1-month subscription.
  7. Read the Terms of Use for individual services: Mobile Farm document.

  8. Select the I accept the Mobile Farm rental terms and understand that I need to delete the device to stop charges checkbox.

  9. Click Add. The devices will be ready for use when their status changes to ACTIVE.

2. Start testing

We do not recommend:

  • disable USB Debugging mode;
  • remove the MFService app.

If you accidentally performed one of these actions, data from the device will stop being streamed to your screen, and it will become unavailable. To resume working with the device, create a ticket.

  1. In the control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Mobile Farm.
  2. Go to the Devices section.
  3. In the device row, click the manufacturer and device model. For other users of your Mobile Farm, the device will have the BUSY status — they will not be able to use this device.
  4. Open the Applications tab.
  5. Select an application file or drag and drop it into the upload area. The application will appear in the device control window.
  6. Optional: to speed up the stream, lower the video quality on the toolbar above the device control window. The default value is 80%.

3. Finish working with the device

When you have finished testing the application on a mobile device, finish working with it so that the device becomes available to other Mobile Farm users.

After you finish working, all installed applications will remain on the device. If necessary, remove them yourself before finishing your session. Screenshots and logs will be automatically deleted.

To finish working with the device, go to another page. For example, navigate back to the page with your Mobile Farm devices.

If you and other Mobile Farm users no longer plan to use the device, you can delete it.
