Blocked IP addresses

In case of a massive attack on a server that negatively affects the network infrastructure, the server IP address may be blocked for all incoming traffic using blackhole (RTBH).

Blocking is applied for 8 hours and can be extended if the attack continues. You will receive a ticket when a block is applied.

View blocked IP addresses

  1. In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Network Incidents.
  2. Open the Blocked IP addresses tab. The blocking period is displayed for every blocked address.

Unblock an IP address

  1. Wait for the blocking period to end — it lasts 8 hours and is removed automatically if the attack has stopped. If you need to remove the block earlier, create a ticket and wait for a response from support with recommendations on the necessary actions.
  2. Optional: to prevent a repeat attack and blocking, change the server IP address.
