Blocked IP addresses
In case of a massive attack on a server that negatively affects the network infrastructure, the server IP address may be blocked for all incoming traffic using blackhole (RTBH).
Blocking is applied for 8 hours and can be extended if the attack continues. You will receive a ticket when a block is applied.
View blocked IP addresses
- In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Network Incidents.
- Open the Blocked IP addresses tab. The blocking period is displayed for every blocked address.
Unblock an IP address
- Wait for the blocking period to end — it lasts 8 hours and is removed automatically if the attack has stopped. If you need to remove the block earlier, create a ticket and wait for a response from support with recommendations on the necessary actions.
- Optional: to prevent a repeat attack and blocking, change the server IP address.
