Add secret

To add a new version of an existing secret, use the Add version subsection of the Secret Versioning guide.

Control panel

1. In the Control panel, on the top menu, click Products and select Secrets Manager.
2. In the Secrets section, click Add secret.
3. Enter the name of the secret—its unique key. Once the secret is created, the name cannot be changed.
4. Enter the secret value: a password, API key, certificate key, or other. The limit is 65536 characters.
5. Optional: enter a description of the secret.
6. Click Add.
