Dedicated server configurations

A configuration is a description of a server's technical specifications (CPU model, RAM capacity, quantity, capacity and type of storage, and number and type of network interfaces).

Dedicated servers come in two configuration types:

For custom configuration servers, you can add graphics processing units (GPUs).

For projects with lower availability requirements, you can choose a Chipcore Line prebuilt configuration server or build a custom configuration Chipcore Line server.

You can view the availability of configuration types in the regions in the Dedicated Servers availability matrix.

Prebuilt configuration servers

Assembled and racked in advance, ready for use within two minutes after ordering (excluding OS installation time). Prebuilt configuration servers are divided into lines that differ in technical specifications.

After ordering a server, you can perform an upgrade.

Lines

  • Chipcore Line — affordable entry-level servers used for projects with lower availability requirements; they may be provided without a local network connection or KVM console access. You can view detailed configuration information in the configurator when ordering a server. To access the KVM console, order the IP-KVM connection for 3 hours;
  • Entry Line — entry-level configurations for small projects, startups, and small businesses;
  • Advanced Entry Line — an expanded number of server configurations for small projects, startups, and small businesses;
  • Business Line — high-performance servers for medium-sized businesses and minor projects in the corporate segment;
  • AMD Line — powerful AMD-based servers for hosting high-load services or applications;
  • ARM Line — servers based on ARM architecture processors. An alternative to x86 architecture servers. Highly suitable for multi-threading and database workloads;
  • Performance Line — high-performance servers for building virtualization clusters, complex systems, and infrastructure projects; servers with a high-speed network (10GE MC-LAG);
  • Graphic Line — servers with graphics accelerators for GPU computing and graphical tasks;
  • Storage Line — servers for storing large volumes of data;
  • Discount Line — discounted servers at an attractive price from legacy lines.

Custom configuration servers

Assembled to order in our own production facility and ready for use in one to five business days. Components are selected in the configurator when ordering a server.

The configurator only allows you to select compatible components. During assembly, every server undergoes stability testing. This allows us to identify potential issues before the server is delivered.

After ordering a server, you can change the server configuration.
