Delete a resource record
You can delete a resource record or delete a group of resource records.
Delete a resource record
If the record is the only record in the group, it cannot be deleted, you must delete the group of resource records.
- In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select DNS hosting.
- Open the zone page.
- From the menu of the resource record group, select Edit.
- In the value bar, click .
- Click Save. When the TTL of the resource record group expires, the remote resource record will stop being retrieved from the caching servers. You can view the TTL of a resource record group in the control panel: from the top menu, click Products → DNS Hosting → Zone Page.
Delete a group of resource records
- In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select DNS hosting.
- Open the zone page.
- From the menu of the resource record group, select Delete.
- Click Delete. When the TTL of the remote resource record group expires, the records in the group will no longer be retrieved from the caching servers.
