Delete a resource record

You can delete a resource record or delete a group of resource records.

Delete a resource record

If the record is the only record in the group, it cannot be deleted, you must delete the group of resource records.

  1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select DNS hosting.
  2. Open the zone page.
  3. From the menu of the resource record group, select Edit.
  4. In the value bar, click .
  5. Click Save. When the TTL of the resource record group expires, the remote resource record will stop being retrieved from the caching servers. You can view the TTL of a resource record group in the control panel: from the top menu, click Products → DNS Hosting → Zone Page.

Delete a group of resource records

  1. In the control panel, in the top menu, click Products and select DNS hosting.
  2. Open the zone page.
  3. From the menu of the resource record group, select Delete.
  4. Click Delete. When the TTL of the remote resource record group expires, the records in the group will no longer be retrieved from the caching servers.
