Order a dedicated server of any configuration

  1. Select accessories.
  2. Place your order.

In the server configurator, the selection of components starts with the processor and proceeds sequentially. After selecting one component, incompatible components are excluded in the next steps.

  1. В control panels go to Servers and hardware → Servers.

  2. Select project.

  3. If there are created servers in the project, click Order a server. If there are no servers in the project, the order page will open automatically.

  4. Open the tab Server Configurator.

  5. Optional: select region и pool The pool determines the list of available components. The list of available components depends on the pool. It is not possible to change the region and pool after ordering.

  6. Select the processor and specify the required quantity if it supports multiprocessor systems. Once an order has been placed, the processor in the server cannot be replaced. If a different processor or a change in the number of processors is required, order a new server.

  7. Configure the RAM:

    • select the total amount of memory;
    • or configure the memory modules — to do this, press Manage memory modulesSelect the module volume and specify the required quantity.

  8. Select the disks and specify the number of disks you need. An NVMe disk may not be available if the appropriate motherboard model does not have enough free ports. If you need an NVMe disk:

    8.1. In the field HBAs and RAID controllers click Add.

    8.2 Select HBA controllers and specify the desired quantity.

    8.3 In the field Disks select NVMe disk.

  9. Optional: Add additional NICs and specify the number of NICs required.

  10. Optional: add HBAs and RAID controllers and specify the required number.

  11. Optional: add GPUs and specify the desired number.

  12. Optional: Add a PCI-e trusted boot device and specify the required number.

  13. Select the motherboard. If one motherboard option is available for the selected configuration, the field will be filled in automatically.

  14. Select an enclosure. If one enclosure option is available for the selected configuration, the field will be filled in automatically.

  15. In the block Configuration:

    15.1 Check the configuration of the dedicated server.

    15.2. Select tariff plan.

    15.3. Press Order a server. You will move on to order placement.

  1. On the tab Order placement check the configuration of the dedicated server.

  2. Check it out region и pool If necessary, change the region and pool. If necessary, change the region and pool. You cannot change the region and pool after placing an order.

  3. Customize the operating system:

    3.1 Select the distribution version to automatically install the OS on the server or select No OS-boot — server will be delivered without OS. To purchase Russian Astra Linux and RED OS licenses file a ticket. Once the server is handed over, you can install the OS manually or auto-installation anytime.

    3.2 Optional: configure the operating system configuration. If you have chosen a Linux-based operating system, you can partition disks.

  4. Optional: to securely connect to the server using the encrypted SSH protocol, select a previously downloaded and hosted SSH key or add a new one. More details in the instructions Create and upload an SSH key on a dedicated server.

  5. Optional: if you have a Linux-based OS and have not added HBAs and RAID controllers to your server configuration, the field will be available User data. To automate server configuration, specify server configuration parameters in cloud-config or bash script format. For more information, see Examples of user data.

  6. Select traffic consumption pattern.

  7. Select tariff plan.

  8. Specify the number of servers you want.

  9. Optional: enter a comment on the order. For example, specify the peculiarities of hardware connection or the order of disk installation you need — this affects the order of disk definition in the system, the OS is installed on the first disk. By default disks are installed in the following order: NVMe → SSD → HDD.

  10. Optional: on the tab Additional services check the list additional services. You can order additional services after the server is handed over.

  11. Confirm that you agree to the payment terms.

  12. Click Pay Now.

  13. Read the order information and press Pay. Depending on the selected components, it may take from one to five working days to get the server ready for operation. When the server is ready for delivery, you will receive an e-mail notification and you will be able to access it hook up. From the moment the server is handed over, it begins paid period. The server password will be available to view for 24 hours from the date the server is handed over. If you forget your password, you can reset and restore it.
